We Reject Any Move To Ban Hijab – MSSN

The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN) has said that moves to ban the wearing of full-face veils by women as suggested by leaders of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).

Mohammad Jameel Mohammad, the National President of the MSSN said this at the opening ceremony of the 100th Islamic Vacation Course of the Lagos State Area Unit in Epe.

According to him, outright ban on the use of veil would compound the growing security concerns.

He suggested that security agencies should tackle the insecurity challenge in the country in a holistic manner.

  1. There is this hotel in Surulere that scans you immediately you cross the bar at the entrance. I think the government can install a similar device in different location to detect things like explosives

As the terrorist are using the hijab in disguise to attack innocent nigerians in order to make government ban the use of hijab. I think the government should do all that is possible to tackle the terrorists act and ensure hijab remains. One cannot stop evil by doing evil. Hijab remains and terrorism goes.
