102nd IVC: CLERIC CHARGES YOUTH ON DECENT DRESSING

As the 102nd Islamic Vacation Course progresses, Delegates have been charged to take caution while choosing their kind of dress and adornment.

In a lecture delivered by Ustadh Sherifdeen Ibrahim on ‘dressing and adornment in the shade Islam’, dressing is seen as something that originated from the first man on earth (Adam).

Ustadh Ibrahim mentioned that the prophet Muhammad emphasised the importance of dressing decently and avoid extravagance. In addition, it is forbidden for females to wear men’s clothing and vice versa.

He added that Muslims should observe the ettiquette of dressing and adornment by saying the invocation before and after dressing. Also to ward away any form of harm.

Ibrahim however urged all Muslims to dress well as it serves as pride for the entire Muslim generation.
